How does it work?
You give another person a PayPal gift voucher, and pay for it using your credit card, or your PayPal balance, or your bank account. They get the voucher delivered either by email, or printed out by you.
When they want to use it in our store, they order as normal, but they nominate PayPal as their payment method.
You can nominate any date within the next month, for PayPal to email the gift Certificate to them.
Gift Vouchers do not expire- they can be used any time in the future.
People who purchase gift certificates do not need a PayPal account. People who receive and redeem gift certificates must have a PayPal account or sign up for an one at the time of redemption.
Where does your money go?
We do not take your money, or your card details, that is done by PayPal. The money is held in trust by PayPal, until the owner of the voucher decides to use it. PayPal is owned by eBay.
How do you spend it?
It can be used in part, or in whole, towards an online order. If the order is larger than the gift voucher, the rest can be paid for, by the usual PayPal methods. The person receiving the gift voucher must have a PayPal account and use PayPal to redeem it (joining PayPal is free). There is no charge to the person when they use the voucher- ie they get to spend its full value. Multiple gift vouchers can be redeemed on a single purchase.
